Among Germany's estimated 2,800 manufacturers in the plastics processing industry, HA-WI belongs to the largest sector commonly known as 'injection moulding'. Within this sector, HA-WI belongs to the class of 'miscellaneous plastics' and is one of about 1,340 other manufacturers who make up almost half of the German plastics processing industry.
HA-WI has approximately 50 injection moulding machines from different manufacturers like Boy and Arburg and Engel, with a clamping force of 220 to 3,000 kN. Today, HA-WI has a production area of 7,000 sqm in use and 35,000 sqm in reserve. With an average of 13 shifts per week some of our machines are working 3 shifts a day from Monday to Friday.
